Sachin Tendulkar to do a cameo in 'CID'

The master blaster is all set to make a cameo in Sony Entertainment Television's 'CID'. Buzz is that the story, of which Sachin will be part of, will revolve around a fan who will steal Sachin's most prized possession, his bat. And Sachin will contact the 'CID' team to search for it. This crime based show has been running successfully for 15 years now.

Producer B P Singh says, "Sachin is the god of cricket and now that he got his 100th ton, we wanted to felicitate him in our own way. What better than having him on 'CID'? My team is extremely excited on getting a chance to work with the legend." This episode will showcase the innumerable achievements of Sachin and will also have him talking about his career.

"The idea behind the story is that a fan should not cross the limit and should not harass his idol in the wake on loving him. He should know where to draw the line," he added. Eventually, 'CID' will catch the culprit and hand over the bat to Sachin and he will praise the team for their flawless teamwork.
The cricket legend has been a part of a documentary film, 'Vignaharta Shree Siddhivinayak' and this will be his first appearance in a TV series. The shooting for this special story will start after the IPL tournament.

After having seen him give rocking performance on the field, it will be interesting to watch Sachin in a television show.
